Commerce Kickstart 2 comes with a main menu of "collections" to alter. How?

If you try to change a "collection", the main menu still shows the old title, although new collections have new titles.
After a day or two's experiment, I have finally find out how to change the main menu.
It isn't the last place you'd look: that's too easy to remember. It is about half way down the last column of places.
It is the last admin menu before help, which is called Site Settings, column two for "menus". "Main menu" is second on the list after "Footer navigation".

ReplyDeleteis a module that allows you to change some of the machine-readable file names from the defaults, such as "to_geek_out" to new ones, I think, possibly. It adds a blue "edit" link after the machine name on some menus.
No luck yet. It looks as though I have to delete the collection "to geek-out" or have that machine name forever appearing like a ghost in unexpected places like file names and admin headings.

ReplyDeleteIn your HubSpot account, click the settings icon settings in the main navigation bar. In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Website > Navigation. Your default menu contains the pages that will automatically populate the default content of an advanced menu module. Use the dropdown menu to select an existing menu to update.
